REDESIGN CONCEPT FOR A CAFE IN THE OCEANARIUM RIPLEY'S

This café in oceanarium is a feat of biomorphic theatre, plunging the diner into a refined underwater world without a single aquarium pane. The entire space is drenched in an intense, monolithic deep teal, recalling the silent depths, broken only by ribbons of cool neon lighting tracing stylized, undulating wave forms across the walls and ceiling. Above, a luminous shoal of sculptural fish art installation creates a dynamic focal point. The floor is anchored by striking, wave-like white benches—architectural landforms composed of hundreds of stacked planes—which provide a sharp, organic counterpoint to the dark floor. This is not casual dining; it is a meticulously crafted, subterranean design experience, where color, light, and form converge to banish the world above the surface.
