LOBBY
From a professional interior designer's perspective, the renovation of the 1985 Lobby in the heart of Toronto presented a thrilling opportunity to rejuvenate the area. Embracing the existing architectural features, such as the lofty ceilings and abundant windows, was paramount. Our vision was to craft a design that bridges the gap between the existing structure and a contemporary aesthetic, achieving a harmonious transition. The verdant surroundings of the building sparked the idea of incorporating green hues into the furniture and art selections, creating a cohesive connection with the outdoors. The flooring pattern was meticulously chosen to complement the ceiling design, thereby creating a unified and enveloping ambiance. For the centrepiece, we opted for a chandelier that not only serves as an ethereal sculpture but also enhances the spatial dynamics without obstructing the natural light.
