INTERIOR DESIGN OF A DENTAL CLINIC SMILES DENTAL

De Style Design has developed a concept for the interior design of a dental clinic located in Barrie, ON. Our main goal was to enhance the appearance of the small reception area while creating a welcoming and functional interior space. To achieve this, we selected light and warm colors for the interior, and added accent elements such as materials with natural textures including marble look, wooden panels, and textured walls. We also introduced plants as a key focal point to infuse the space with color. To create a visually spacious atmosphere, we used clear glass doors and see-through wall partitions.

The waiting area is designed to create a spa-like environment that will help ease the patient into treatment. We decorated the walls with textured wood paneling, and carefully selected durable and compact yet comfortable furniture in a color palette that compliments the overall design aesthetic.

The reception area is designed to be comfortable for both patients and staff. The reception desk is made of a quartz product that has a marble-like appearance, with a wood valance facing the client. The desk is equipped with all the necessary compartments to house computers, storage, and other equipment required for the administrator's work.
We used a combination of functional and pendant accent lighting to render the space in a soft and layered way. Indirect lighting was used to highlight the key features in the space and accentuate the warmth of the overall design.
